 Cotton
According to surveys conducted by the National Supply Company
(Conab), in all the growing regions, in April, the Brazilian
cotton crop is to hit record numbers in 2004. The production
of cotton wool is estimated at 1.24 million tons, 46.3% -
392.6 thousand tons - up from the pre-vious crop, which totaled
847.5 thousand tons.
