 Corn
From north to south, east to west, on small, medium and large
farms, corn gave Brazilian farmers a reason to celebrate the
2002/2003 crop. Not only larger summer crops, but also off-season
crop productivity made the record harvest possible. Climate
conditions benefited both crops, but the technology adopted
by the growers also lent commendable efficiency.
